Out of stockAbout French & Outswing Doors
French outswing impact doors open outward on hinges and are sold as single doors, double doors and sidelites, in white or bronze with laminated glass. Handing and swing direction must match the opening, and the listed size should be compared with your rough opening. Door grid designs are listed under Accessories.
Colors, glass and privacy options
Frame color, glass color and privacy interlayer options of the same unit are listed as separate products, so each one shows its own price and stock. Use the filters above to compare them.

French & Outswing Doors: frequently asked questions
Why do impact French doors open outward?
Outswing doors press against their frame under wind pressure instead of pulling away from it, and the outward swing is widely used on hurricane-rated entry doors in Florida. Confirm the swing direction your project needs before ordering.
What is a sidelite?
A sidelite is a fixed glass panel installed beside a door. Sidelites use the same frame color and glass as the door so the entry looks uniform. Make sure the sidelite size and approval match the door.
